South Shore's pro shop is easy to miss against the giant Cultural Center building. It's on the left side of the structure, behind the golf carts.
The pro shop is a simple walk-up window. They have basic golf necessities like balls and tees. They also sell drinks and snacks. They do sell alcohol too.
The beautiful clubhouse was built in 1915.
The city considered demolishing the structure after purchasing it in 1974. After discussion, they made the right call and kept it intact, slowly renovating it over decades.
